    Modern manufacturing mostly treats timber as an anonymous, mass-produced commodity. Generic desk objects are churned out in untraceable factory runs, stripped of location, and material context. The result is a flood of uniform products that carry no connection to the landscape they came from or the hands that shaped them.

  • The Studio Standard: Documented Origin

    We reject anonymous industrial output. Milled & Found treats native timber like a single-origin harvest. Every block in our first edition is milled from English Ash, sourced directly from a regional sawmill and their network of local tree surgeons across Northern England.
